Rowan York (they/them) is an avid devourer and creator of romance, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and everything in between, especially stories that deal with queer characters and queer themes. 

Be it tales of intrigue or steamy assignations, space operas or historical tales, Rowan loves genre--so much so that they refuse to pick just one. Moreso than a single guiding generic principle, their reading and writing both are guided by queerness. 

In short: if they're going to make it, they're going to make it gay! (Or bi, or trans, or poly, or...)

Rowan writes from beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, on the traditional and ancestral land of the Ho-Chunk nation. In addition to their wife, they have two dedicated writing aides and research assistants: Minnie (left) and Pickle (right).
